THE PLACE

CasaRegina is located just minutes from Spello and Foligno perched on the hill of San Sebastiano. It sits in the heart of the magnificent olive groves that stretch between Assisi and Spoleto, making it the ideal spot for those seeking peace and beauty amidst ancient oak and olive trees, and other typical local flora.
Surrounded by the gentle Umbrian countryside and not far from the main road, our home is the perfect place to experience an authentic stay in one of Italy’s most fascinating and surprising regions.

CONVENIENCE AND ACCESSIBILITY

CasaRegina is easily accessible and strategically located, not far from the Foligno-Nord exit of the main road that crosses Umbria. It offers ample private outdoor parking and, when needed, a covered shelter for bicycles.
It’s an ideal starting point for exploring the region’s historical and cultural treasures. In just a few minutes, you can discover enchanting towns like Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia, and — to name just a few — the characteristic villages of Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna, and Rasiglia.
If you love festivals, traditions, and historical re-enactments, you’ll easily be able to attend the Giostra della Quintana in Foligno (just a 30-minute walk away), the Infiorata in Spello, the Mercato delle Gaite in Bevagna, Calendimaggio in Assisi, and many other famous events, such as the Corsa dei Ceri in Gubbio.

A HAVEN OF COMFORT AND TRADITION

Our residence has grown over the years alongside the original dwelling from the first half of the last century, which has been completely rebuilt and recently renovated.
We’ve taken care of every detail in our home, selecting natural and traditional materials for the furnishings and finishes: handmade local terracotta for the floors, lime for the wall paints, and natural wood and fibre.

We’ve sought to combine simplicity with elegance to offer comfort and authenticity, making every room relaxing and welcoming. Should you wish to enjoy a period of rest, you can sit on the veranda, in the garden, or stretch out on a hammock among the olive trees, perhaps with a book from the thousands available in the house. We can also provide italian language and culture lessons for small groups.

BREAKFAST

You can start your day by enjoying a generous breakfast, sweet or savoury, prepared fresh and, when possible, with ingredients picked from our own garden and orchard. Tasting a homemade tart, or a savoury dish seasoned with the oil from our olive trees, while sitting on the terrace admiring Spoleto or Montefalco in the distance is a truly delightful and unforgettable experience.
